The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17

God tells us clearly not to worry and not to fear and sometimes that can be quite challenging. I have three children and I love them loads!! At times I become concerned about what is going on with them and Jesus knows that my ‘mums’ heart can be overwhelmed.

In one of these challenging times God told a friend, in a fellowship meeting, to sing a Bob Marley song over me 'Don't worry about a thing cause every little thing's gonna be alright ...' And he sang it over and over, until I laughed :) One week later I went to the same fellowship meeting when a different friend arrived (who hadn't been there the week before) and he started singing the same song and told me he was sorry but he really felt that God wanted him to sing it to me.

Don't worry if you feel that you missed what God is trying to say, I believe that our Father wants you to know how deeply he loves you, that He will speak to you, sing love songs to you and he will make sure that you hear him. He also has a sense of humour and will make you laugh when you least expect it. Sometimes he needs to use the funny things to break cycles of sadness, so just laugh and let his love song breakthrough to your heart.
