“No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it— What God has arranged for those who love him.” 1 Cor 2:9 (MSG)
You can’t outthink God. You cannot overestimate His love for you or the good plans He has for your life. So often we settle for less than what God has for us. Content to just get through life in ‘limp-home mode’, we think promises such as these are reserved for until we get to heaven.
As a child of God, He has a plan and future for you that exceeds what you can ever imagine or think. The apostle Paul tells us in the following verse that the ability to see and experience this plan is to look at things through eyes enlightened by the Holy Spirit.
When you look at the year ahead from a natural perspective, it looks just like every other year with the usual cycle of successes and failures. But when we view it from the perspective of beloved children of God – everything changes.
Today, rejoice in the fact that God has arranged everything you need for the year ahead. Embrace the life He has called you to and you will experience more than you could ever imagine possible. He is faithful!
