My default response to hearing odd noises coming from my car engine is to turn up the radio! Eventually though I have to take it to a mechanic who knows what he’s doing. I recognise my inability to sort out the problem and take it to someone who can.
In life we can ‘turn up the radio’ and try to ignore what we need to deal with until we realise we can’t ignore it any more. The first step to finding a solution is to acknowledge that we can’t sort it out on our own.
God won’t force His way into our lives but once we allow Him in He’s able to start turning things around.
Whatever you’re ignoring today - turn down the volume and let God deal with it!
