And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men."

Life with Jesus could never be described as dull or boring! You certainly weren't short of stories to tell your friends! Blind eyes opened, healings, miracles!!
When people truly encountered Jesus and allowed him to touch their lives they would never be the same again. But Jesus always lets us chose our response to him. He shows us his glory. The depths of his love, goodness and power and then he invites us to journey with him.
The disciples could have returned to fishing. After labouring all night they could have cashed in on the enormous catch and lived for the moment. Yet they were prepared to leave behind the very thing they had laboured for to go after a much greater prize.
Today we get to chose who we are going to live for. Even if we have already made the choice to follow Jesus we must make a choice daily about whether we will walk according to his Spirit or whether we will follow the desires of the flesh. Do we take things into our own hands, do it our way because we haven't seen prayers answered or do we wait and trust?
Let's pursue the things of his kingdom. Make a choice today to co- labour with Christ and be able to share in the privilege of seeing his God life transforming families, communities, countries and continents!
