I’m sure many of us have an image of an oasis – palm trees and a spring in the middle of the desert. I also remember stories about travellers who thought they saw water in the desert – but it was only a mirage, the closer they got, the further away it became until, in their despair, they gave up hope.
God wants us to bloom wherever we are – to become fully what He created us to be.
Walking around a beautiful garden is a restorative experience – every twist and turn brings a new colour, shape and view. We are not one dimensional – the person you are right now is not the finished article. You are so much more that you think – you might not see that right now, but God sees the whole picture. Like a garden – you are alive and changing every day.
Let God tend and look after you so that you can fulfil your potential and become all that you are destined to be. You don’t have to wait another moment!
