“We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

Have you ever tried to do a job but just didn’t have the right piece of equipment? I have struggled and tried to do lots of things around the home without the right tool for the job, ultimately conceding that I need help (it’s a man thing not to ask for help straightaway). Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:10 that each of us are God’s workmanship – His ‘handiwork’ created in Christ Jesus for good works.

You have been created exactly as you are to do a specific job that God has prepared for you. Isn’t it amazing? Just think about it for a minute, there are specific things that God has waiting for you and He has designed you perfectly for the job. In fact many of the so-called ‘imperfections’ you might see in yourself are the very cracks that God wants to shine His light through today.

Take time today to thank God for making you the way you are and look for opportunities to step into what He has waiting for you.
