He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Psalm 37:6

“It’s not fair!”

We’ve all had times in our lives when we’ve felt, or been, unjustly treated or unfairly judged. Your motives have been misrepresented or people have just lied about you.  It’s really tough, and if we’re not careful it make us bitter and cynical, hitting back in the same spirit that has been meted out to us.

There is another way!

By allowing the grace of God to flow into our hearts we let Him turn things around. It doesn’t always happen in the way we expect or in the timeframe we would like, but through it all we are changed to become a little more like Him. We may be challenged – asked to forgive someone who has hurt us, speak well of a person when all we want to do is bring them down or lay a situation to rest when all we want to do is fight back.

Our obedience allows Him to take control.  We may not see the change in others straight away, but the change in us is immediate! We are freed from having to sort it out ourselves with our limited understanding – and give it over to the one who knows it all!

Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to get sick – so whatever injustice that is pulling you down today let go and give God the opportunity to sort it out in His way and His time.
