"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." Philippians 2:5 KJV
Jesus took on Himself the form of a servant. A servant does not need to spend time, energy, money or effort making a reputation for himself. It is not about us but Jesus! God will exalt you, promote you and lift up Jesus through you when you humble yourself as a servant.
Jesus said, "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you". The blessing of God and the joy of the Lord belongs to the servant who lives to serve others instead of promoting himself.
Take time today to consider who you are in Christ. When we realise how deeply He loves us and begin to see who we really are in Him we will start to see the privilege it is to be an ambassador for Jesus. This truth will shine as a light to the world!
We are called to be faithful servants and live to bless, not to impress! As we become more like Jesus, our lives will be transformed.
We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength!
