We all have a favourite food, mine is cake. I love to bake but unfortunately due to the unwanted side effects of too much cake I don’t indulge too often! The problem is that one slice is never enough is it?
The satisfaction we can have in relationship with God is much more enduring that any sugar hit – and what’s so incredible about this verse is that it reminds us that God knows exactly what we need right now to satisfy our souls and renew us so we can reach our full potential.
If your life plan hasn’t quite panned out, or you’re discouraged and dissatisfied with where you find yourself today – God can turn all that around. He knows exactly what you need, better than you.
Restored relationships, rejuvenated careers, healthy finances, physical and emotional breakthroughs – they’re all from Him, but most of all He longs for a transformative relationship with you – His creation. Then you will be an overcomer, prevailing and triumphing not in your own self-determination or will power but in Him and His love for youake I don’t indulge too often! The problem is that one slice is never enough is it?
