Our enemy, the devil, likes to distract us and get us down by throwing up images and situations in our minds from the past. Things we have said, thought or done that, if we choose to allow it, will loop round and round in our thoughts like a GIF video on Twitter.
Stop it!
Like Paul, you need to learn to choose to forget the past. It does not define you. You are who God says you are and with Him in your life, all things become possible. With God, you need to learn to live in the present, in His presence, and stay focused on what lies ahead. You’ve got a role to play in Kingdom building. Somewhere out there, someone’s life is going to be transformed because you chose to press on and set your stall out to make a difference by putting Jesus front and centre in your life.
