Yesterday we talked about how God has given us His authority - the power to control & determine. The Holy Spirit empowers you in the same way that He empowered Jesus. If that is true then why do many of us struggle to see people & circumstances change?
Understand the nature of the battle that you are in today. The devil has absolutely no power to harm a hair on your head. The battle for us is not to defeat the work of of the devil because surely Jesus did that on the cross. We struggle because we fall for the oldest trick in the book. The devil UNDERMINES the nature, character & work of Jesus and doubt & unbelief is the result. When we operate in that spirit we are not able to exercise spiritual authority.
Be attentive today - Whenever there are thoughts & words that cause you to doubt God's goodness then you can know straight away that it is the work of the enemy in your life. That is the way that humanity fell in the first place - they believed a lie. "Did God really say?......."
If God said it then it is true. He is your saviour, friend, healer, restorer, shield, strength, helper, provider, encourager, hope giver and so much more. Do not fall for the lies of the enemy. Don't slip in your head & your heart. Encourage yourself today that you are highly loved & favoured and that will never change because God does not lie!
