For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” Galatians 5:14
The Gospel is super simple, it can be complicated, and you can dig as deep and far as you want into the Gospel and never stop being amazed. The simplest aspect of the Gospel is, as Galatians 5 says, "...the WHOLE law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love..."
Stop agonising over how you have pleased God today, have you read your bible enough, prayed enough, healed enough people... the list can go on! Stop it all! The most important aspect of living with Jesus is this, and this only, that we spend our time and effort operating in love. Loving those around us, those close to us, those we just met, those we don’t know, and even those we don’t like.
This is the Gospel, that we love, scandalously, unwavering, unrelenting love for the world around us. YOU SHALL LOVE. Accomplish this in all things you do, and you will have fulfilled the whole of the law of God. If there is one thing in my day I try my best to put above all else, it is this, every single individual I meet, I try to the best of my ability to share the love of God into their lives and their situation.
