"A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn't speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all."Matthew 15:30 (NLT)

When Jesus was walking through Israel he attracted crowds of people. What a sight it must have been to see probably thousands of people seek after our Lord. The bible tells us that people brought their sick to Him and he healed them all. For me that is such an encouragement. Jesus said that he was only doing the work of the father, (John 6:38) so when Jesus healed everyone he encountered who was sick, I believe we can proclaim that our Father in heaven wants to see everyone healed too!

And think about the people that were there in those crowds. I'm sure they were far from perfect. I'm sure they had many problems and issues in their life. I'm sure they didn't walk a perfect Christian life. I'm sure many of them had sinful habits and made wrong choices, yet no one was disqualified. That's Gods love and grace for his children.

They only did one thing that I can see. They went seeking for Jesus. They sought an encounter with Him. They could have stayed in their house that day and decided to ignore the gathering of the crowds. They could have stayed in bed and not bothered getting up and moving. I think if they had done that, they wouldn't have received their healing. They would have missed it.

Whatever you need this week, seek out Jesus! Spend time with your saviour, pursue His presence and study His word, for it is there you will find your blessing.
