Yesterday we saw that the good Father gives good things to his children. Giving is the very expression of love. If it wasn't enough that God gave us Jesus, Romans 8:32 says - He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
God has given us Jesus, and with him all the promises of God are Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 2:20). I don't know about you, but I want a daily encounter with Jesus, I want to live in the abundance of the ‘all things,’ I want to thrive and flourish in all that God has provided for me, and I want to be generous – after all, the same love is shed abroad in my heart (Romans 5:5).
