"No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly." Psalm 84:11
I love this verse. It has meant so much to me over the last number of years as I have believed for breakthrough in my health and in ministry.
The one area that the devil has constantly tried to attack is not how I see God but what he thinks of me.
For years I could believe in his goodness, his faithfulness, his grace for everyone else but somehow I would disqualify myself as I would always find some flaw, some mistake, some poor attitude or lack of faith that kept me from truly receiving. This was never at a conscious level as I know all the right answers in my head. But at a heart level, when I stilled myself and listened to what I truly believed about myself I often felt unworthy.
These verses counter every argument when we understand his grace because we no longer need to walk uprightly to obtain all of his goodness we just need to put our faith in the one who is upright. Jesus paid for me so that I might receive this incredible relationship with the Father and all the outrageous benefits that come with this God life.
No good thing does he withhold!!!
